Industry Mentors
We're looking for alumni and industry contacts familiar with engineering project design and implementation to support second year students with their skills development in January/February 2024!
Engineering You’re Hired! is a multidisciplinary project week for second year Engineering students which builds on the first year project week, Global Engineering Challenge.
Working in multidisciplinary teams, students combine their knowledge to tackle a real-life problem to develop their planning and design skills. Student groups aim to take their proposed solution to the proof of concept stage towards the end of the week.
Our Industry Mentor days form an important part of this innovative project week, giving the students a valuable opportunity to engage with alumni and industry contacts who can share their expertise and advise on their projects.

We’re looking for alumni and industry contacts working in the Technology and Engineering industries, to support students at the Engineering You're Hired event.
Your role
Share your insight and career experiences with students
Provide feedback on student projects and presentations
Take part in a discussion panel with the students
Showcase your company and talent spot for graduate opportunities
(also includes option to register for Global Engineering Challenge)

We're looking for alumni and industry contacts working in senior leadership and management positions to support the final Industry Mentor Day. This is a key highlight of the week, giving students a valuable opportunity to engage with senior alumni and industry contacts who can share their expertise and advice, bringing their real-world experience to assess student projects.
Your role
In light of your experience, join a panel to ‘judge’ student projects.
Ask the students questions and provide feedback on their presentations.
Showcase your company and talent spot for graduate opportunities.
